Internal Audit Posision
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Internal Audit Manager to formulate and implement the internal audit strategy for the organization.
- Support the Internal Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan and budget.
- Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of Risk Management, Control & Governance processes.
- Ensure that audits adhere to established quality standards.
- Gain comprehensive industry knowledge to understand the business’s risk profile.
- Communicate and negotiate with business process owners to define audit deliverables, timeframes, and present findings based on the conducted work.
- Provide an impartial assessment of the risk and control environment within various business processes.
- Monitor the progress of implementing management actions following audit findings.
- Review risk-related issues and changes in relevant business areas and the external environment, offering insights to influence future audit strategy and direction.
- Cultivate relationships with management and other assurance providers.
- Educate clients on internal audit expectations.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Hold a professional qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in internal audit, with preference given to those with experience in the general insurance industry.
